DIRECT SELLING

Direct Selling is a great way to make income by sharing products that you love with the people you meet.  Typically, it is very affordable to get started and very easy to maintain your volume to stay in the business.  You are paid a percentage of the volume that you sell and get even more incentives the higher the volume you accumulate, and the more people you personally sponsor, or that join your team.  

One of the funnest, easiest, most versatile businesses I have come across yet is Scentsy.  They have it covered when it comes to accomodating people’s selling styles, schedules, marketing tools and everyone seems to love “good smelly things”, especially when they are extremely affordable, and they have something for every man, woman, child and decor.  You’ll definitely have some fun with this one . . .

I was introduced to Scentsy in December 2010 by my cousin Laurie from Southern Alberta and it just came up in our conversation when we were talking about Christmas gifts.   She said “you should take a look at these” and the more she informed me as to what they were all about the more I was intrigued.   Typically when people mentioned anything about candles, I wouldn’t pay much attention, because I don’t really like to burn candles.  Yes, I love some of the beautiful candle holders, the presence of them to add to your home decor and ambience in a room, and, of course, the delightful aroma’s of some of scents when they are not burning, but I don’t really love the fumes from traditional candles.  I have also heard, but of course not experienced, the problems with soot and residue that can be left behind on your walls and ceilings.  However, the biggest thing is that I am not at all comfortable with the fire as I tend to have a lot on the go (those of you who know me will attest to that), and have forgotten to put them out before going to bed or leaving the house, when I have lit them occasionally.  Frightening!

Well Scentsy is a completely different story and once I had a look at the warmers I immediately wanted to order one, but then I was faced with the dilemma of which one of the many delicious Scentsy bars I should order.  However, Laurie lives 6 hours away so going to her place to give them the “sniff test” was not possible, but when she mentioned that the starter kit had every kind you could dream of and how low the cost was of it all, I just thought that would be a great way to get started.  With Scentsy, I can experience all of the things I LOVE about candles without the worries, and now I can have a different smell in my house every day and enough wax supply for a very long time to come.  These flameless, wickless paraffin blends that fill the room with AMAZING aromas without the other issues are FABULOUS!  Not to mention the numerous amounts of beautifully designed warmers that will match any home decor and people’s personal taste, and all the other incredible products that are available in their catalogue.
